Thank you for visiting our recruitment thread! We are one of the few Free Companies that are fresh with new and active people. If you have any questions after reading, feel free to post a reply or /tell us ingame. Suggestions and idea's are also welcome!

 

Introduction

 

Majestic Dawn is a social and English speaking Free Company that resides on the European server Odin. We're an European based Free Company but players from other timezones are also welcome to join if they find our times suitable. We are a group of mature players who value their time both ingame and in real life. We hope to provide our members a social and relaxed environment where people can enjoy the game together. Our Free Company is to provide our members a home and serves as an enrichment of their gaming experience. We cater to both casual and somewhat more committed players. For us it's all about sharing and caring.

*** Some of our members are currently gearing up and recruiting for endgame content. However, the majority of the Free Company is still leveling. Were currently recruiting both level 50's (for static groups) and lower level players. Were looking to reach a stable and manageable size of members before we close the recruitment.

 

 

What do we offer? Our goals and principles

 

Casual vs hardcore

 

We will always value real life over the game. We always consider real life situations. However, we do expect you to keep your promises that you make.

In general, we want to give our members the oppertunity to play in any aspect of the game they desire to while keeping the company's best interest in mind. Everyone is free to decide how he wants to spend his/her time in this game at their own pace as long as they make it clear to us. We offer a place where both casual and serious players can fulfill or satisfy their needs. We're here to enjoy the game.

Quality over quantity

 

We look to maintain a decent size of community where quality stands above quantity. Getting along with each other is very important to us. A mature behaviour is therefore mandatory. We want to build up a strong social community that is respected serverwide.

When we commit to something, we do it right. We expect all of our members to take things serious and give it their all when undertaking ingame challenges whether it be with pugs or with members of the company. 

 

 

Plans and activities; our to do list

 

- We are planning to run multiple Static groups (both casual and serious progression) with possible linkshells for players outside the Free Company. We will always prioritize our members (if they meet the requirement) over non-members. 

- Gather gil for Company Housing.

- An interactive Company Chest where we share and trade materials in interest for the Free Company.

For the potential new members

 

Ideal recruits are players that can:

 

- Understand and communicate in English

- Have a stable internet connection

- Take/handle constructive criticism or feedback (i.e. not being offended easily)

- Handle problems and conflicts in a mature way

- Have a positive attitude

 

It doesn't matter what background you have. Both newcomers and skilled players are welcome as long as you are enthusiastic about what we offer and what we stand for. We love players that doesn't mind helping others once in a while. It is important to give it your best when it comes to any kind of efforts for the guild. Be a teamplayer, show respect and treat others the way you want to be treated. I'm sure you'll get something great in return. 

 

 

Tips (optional)

 

We encourage you to make yourself known and get yourself involved in our community. You can do this by grouping with our members if you find the oppertunity and just chat or ask/answer questions in chat. It doesn't always have to benefit us, it can be something that benefits you; e.g. having a healer or a tank queue with you in the duty finder when you're experiencing long queue's, asking something game-related etc.  We love to help and any effort in interacting with our members is appreciated. So don't be shy and ask us any time in the Free Company chat!

 

***It doesn't mean that you should only play with our members and exclude solo play. It's about finding the right balance. We understand if you want to play alone or with other friends at times.
