Classic MMORPG Challenge

grindingamergrindingamer Member Posts: 65

I have been watching all these threads and everywhere I look, people seem to want a game that makes them work for things. I was one of them as well. I finally found an MMORPG that eats up a chunk of my time and is refreshing/rewarding at the same time.

I have gone through all the phases. WoW, Vindictus, LOTRO, SWTOR, Rift (Most recently played). I got bored of most of them in a few months, and went back to a classic I played back in 2010.

I recently started playing Atlantica again and I have heard all the cases of what is wrong with it, and how pay2win the game is. I took this as a challenge and see how far I could get without spending any money. Since Stamina was removed from the game, I could now devote lots of time leveling my character and mercenaries.

The community in this game is the most mature I have ever ran across, most players in my nation that I have talked to are around my age, 27. The crafting system in this game will make you an addict. Being able to craft all your equipment for every mercenary with the chance of it being crafted with a enhanced grade will make you want to craft all the time.

The combat is the most unique from any game I have encountered. The world is based on real places and towns with quests have have to do with actual lore. Turn based combat is not for everyone, but its worth a try, its not as slow as you would think.

Its F2P but I think this game with all the content it has, could easily be a Sub game.

If you want a classic game that is really unique, challenge yourself with Atlantica. Final Fantasy is so popular and is turn based, which was the main reason I started Atlantica so it has lots of potential.

Challenge yourself by playing and not spending spending a single dollar and post your progress here!
