[PRX]The Professionals….since 1999

www.prx-guild.com

Online gaming’s most accomplished player vs player combat team - 14 Years strong.

Our hallmarks are professionalism, consistency of victory, experience, longevity and character.

100 members of our team have been with us over 6 years, we have 80 testers in Alpha and our team has more than 300 members.

We began in August 1999 in Ultima Online and have competed in every major MMORPG, on the respective hardcore PvP servers, since that time. For a more detailed account of our accomplishments, see our Combat Statistics or our History.

Focused relevant history:

In Age of Conan on Deathwhisper we built the first battlekeep across all NA servers.  Deathwhisper combined FFA PvP side by side with leveling and gathering which proves our ability to fight for leveling grounds, resources and build a Battlekeep under fire.

In Shadowbane we dominated two servers - Treachery in which we baned and burned over 30 cities and never lost ours and then Corruption where the "best of the best" went.  We dominated and won all our world wars and again, never lost our city.  In Shadowbane to succeed you had to level, gather and build all while under an unforgiving FFA environment.

In Guild Wars 2, we earned a record of 72 wins and 4 losses.  55 wins were in Tier 1 and we never finished in 3rd place.  We were a member of the most dominant alliance in GW2's history, The Titan Alliance, and went 30-0.  [PRX] helped lead four servers in both the NA and EU brackets to world's best.  We battled on the fields of the Henge of Denravi to Sea of Sorrows, across the Atlantic to dethrone Vizunah Square three times and then joined with a resurgent Jade Quarry to once again become world's best.

Finally, in TESO we are currently fighting across multiple campaigns (AB being our current primary) and our some of our ops have been posted here.

We look forward to the same success in Archeage and are always looking for a few good gamers and people.

I remember fighting against you guys in SB. You were a force to contend with even at the times when your numbers were small. Good luck in ArcheAge!

There isn't a "right" or "wrong" way to play, if you want to use a screwdriver to put nails into wood, have at it, simply don't complain when the guy next to you with the hammer is doing it much better and easier. - Allein

Thank you for the kind words. We enjoyed Shadowbane very much and look forward to waging war in another open PvP game.  Our last three official games were all faction PvP (ESO, GW2 and Warhammer) and the thrill of open PvP has us pumped.

While we are fully gearing up for ArcheAge we are officially still playing Elder Scrolls Online. Our news section contains reports of our major raids and can be found here:

    http://www.prx-guild.com/news

Here's an example report from our time in ESO so far:

    TESO 4/10/2014 Raid Report

We held another raid in Auriel’s Bow tonight with 80 people. Both red and blue have consistently 2v1′d us for the last few days and tonight was no exception. We pushed on the west side against blue and leapfrogged the battles and took keeps deep in enemy territory. We took all but one of Blue’s keeps and fought their entire force at their home keeps. This created some massive fights against 100 blues.

Unfortunately as we were successful on the west side of the map the east side started to get desperate as red was pushing into Faregyl. We broke off the destruction of blue and jumped to the other side of the map and took out Blue Road Keep. This was undefended and we made a new guild record on capping a keep. From first engagement to capture was 4m14s. From then we pushed north and began taking territory. We took out a couple more keeps and began making a push to the scroll. This push broke red (most of them logged off) and we took both their scrolls.

We recently hunted down the Kraken and got some good footage of it:

We look forward to coming back with an army and slaying the beast. Will you join us?

Our last official title (besides ESO which we are still going strong in) was GW2. Here's our guild picture and a report of what we accomplished:

    http://files.enjin.com.s3.amazonaws.com/503444/module_gallery/original/1427557.jpg

Guild Wars 2 was another one of those hallmark "everyone will play" pvp games and it has not disappointed.  In beta weekend 3, we did a trial run with the Titan Alliance (Condemned, Dusk Till Dawn, Synapse, Ginnunga, The Elite to name just a few) and were unanimously voted in.  Our main nemesis was the Ascension Alliance (Team Legacy, Lords of the Dead, Darkhand, etc) who did a lot of forum posturing pre-final release and had, on paper, hundreds more players than we did.  The Ascension Alliance went so far as to attempt to build an entire server community on Northern Shiverpeaks, all with the goal of community and WvW dominance.

The game began with 24 hour matches, the first few being bugged with scores beginning thousands of points in random directions or having "ghost matches" where you would be fighting 5 or 6 servers at the same time in a bugged fasion.  However, this was quickly fixed and the game began in earnest.  The first two matches in quick succession we made short work of the Ascension Alliance and they quickly dropped all pretense of "server community" and fled off Northern Shiverpeaks to Eredon Terrance.  At this point we were the undispusted best server and alliance of GW2.  We were the kings of tier one, defeating all servers that rose to challenge us and going a world best 30-0.  We defeated the Ascension Alliance (TL, LoTD, DDH) eight times, Stormbluff Isle (and guilds like Sinister and Lords of Death) seven times and Jade Quarry, the server that would eventually dethrone us, six times.

With success, many negatives followed.  We had a lot of "coattail riders" join our server, Henge of Denravi, which meant the WvW queues were hours and hours in length, and boredom among our own alliance.  Having beaten all other good servers over and over again and having them quit faster and faster each match, our alliance broke up for new challenges and lost to Jade Quarry.  We stood as the only guild to keep fighting during that match as even our allies stood down to weigh options.

Since everyone left us to fight alone and the coattail riders left the server, we made the decision to move to a lower-tier server that needed our help.  We chose Sea of Sorrows and so did some other solid NA guilds.  Sea of Sorrows already had a strong Oceanic presence and they had been publically asking for help for a long time.  We joined and went undefeated week upon week until we hit Tier 1 and dethroned the champs for many weeks becoming world's best.

It was at this time that we had accomplished almost everything the game had to offer and sought a new challenge.  For this reason we shipped across the Atlantic to Seafarer's Rest, an EU server in Tier 2.  Once there, we battled and helped the server get into Tier 1 to face the mighty beast known as Vizunah Square.  Over the next 5 matches we won 3 times and became the world's best in the EU bracket.  However, with some connection issues and a longing for NA, we chose to head home to the NA bracket.

Sea of Sorrows was still the best server and therefore we decided on the challenge and joined Jade Quarry, a server with a lot of heart but no wins in months.  We worked hard to mesh with the proud veterans of the server and once again helped it climb to the top of the mountain by dethroning the champs over and over again.

With nothing more to accomplish, we retired with a world's-best record of 72 wins and only 4 losses.  55 of those wins were at the pinnacle of competition, Tier 1, and we never came in 3rd place.  We were also a member of what will always be Guild Wars 2's best alliance, Titan Alliance.

Tonight we had an all call in the Wabbajack campaign, which was the only campaign where a side had more than 1 bar throughout the night. 30 of us found the Dominion pushed back to Faregyl and Alessia early in the night. We pushed the enemy off of our home keeps and toward BRK where we spent most of the night. Our primary objective was to recover the two scrolls that red had stolen from us. We broke off the main assault at Arrius to sneak the scroll of Alta Doon at Kingscrest, but were rebuffed by some Ebonheart that were spamming the mage mercs which became invulnerable.

After this battle we needed to hop to the west to defend against the Daggerfall invasion. They were pushing on Roebeck and we charged them back to the farm and all the way to Nikel and then Ft. Ash.

After the west flank was protected we resumed our assault on the Pact and marched from Alessia over the bridge to Sejanus, then BRK and then Arrius.

After Arrius we led the assault on the Ebonheart home keep of Kingscrest, which housed the scroll of Altadoon.

We were able to take the scroll and Dune/ChuckSavage recovered it and began the long march to the south. Meanwhile the enemy was invading our territory. We rushed to Alessia to defend an attack. This picture was taken seconds after we arrived, this elite group of Red were seconds away from capping Alessia but we arrived on time and fought a close battle for our keep.

As we fought this battle the enemy broke into Roebeck to take back their scroll. We waited at the Alessia-Roebeck bridge and ambushed them there. HidrOxi recovered the scroll and we ended the night by spiking two scrolls.

Tonight PRX engaged in a large battle with the West. They formed two full raids and invaded PRX Village. We rucked up and engaged them, defeating them on the open field, pushing them into the Nui Shrine, then pincering their counter attack. Finally we pushed them off our land and created a human chain to block the invaders.

One of them was streaming, the fights in Ynystere start a 46 minutes in:

Today we launched our maiden voyage of our merchant ship! We carried a ship full of trade packs to Freedich Island and engaged in some PvP there. We wrapped up the night with our first kill of Captain Rangora, getting a nice sword for Narkelion!

Tonight the northern continent, Auroria opened up. PRX worked with our allies, SYN, Elite, DiE, Yakisoba, MH, DL and Phobia to secure a castle. We started the night by approaching the continent from the northwest coast to enter the ruins that held the Anya Pebbles we'd need to claim the castle that could only be found in Auroria.

After a long night of slogging it out in the mines and driving our claim stone to the north we were able to claim a Castle in the Calmlands. I'm incredibly proud of what we accomplished and even if we failed I could still say that tonight was the best performance from PRX in our 15 years. Tonight's victory is the culmination of months of hard work from everyone involved and easily places next to parts of our history like the match in GW2 we rucked up and recovered from a massive deficit against the Ascension Alliance to protect our unbeaten record, or the time we got world first by conquering Altdorf in Warhammer, or when we destroyed the first keep in the world in AoC, or when we fought the entire Treachery server led by the All Father in Shadowbane or when we captured all 6 relics in DAoC on Merlin. Our execution was flawless and I couldn't ask for a better group of people to game with.

The night began with TWO assaulting the area in front of our base pre-siege

However they were pushed back to their spawn.

They set up a line of tanks to hit our gatehouse. We were forced to sally out and flank them.

They then attacked from the south.

But were forced back to their spawn, what are they planning now?

    A siege tower!

    We commandeered it.

    And then destroyed it.

The enemy then tried a wings rotation on our west side, but were defeated there.

At this point they attempted to defend their spawn.

    But were not successful.
