So I decided to buy the game. I had beta tested on a few of the different beta sessions. Was on the fence until I had a family member (mom) say they were interested and would love a 7 day key to try it out. That pushed me over the fence as my family is spread out across the country and gaming is one way we keep in contact and get to interact with each other on a more frequent basis.
Well I decided for the first time I was going to use one of the more popular discount sites I see mentioned a lot. 20% off coupon why the heck not. I normally buy direct or steam which I have had great experiences with but this time why not I hear the name all the time and people seem to love the discounts they give especially with new release games. So I sign up, create the account, add to the (NA) version to cart, coupon code, sweet 20% off time to enter my CC details. Error (generic), okay maybe I missed something time to enter again. Nope same generic error. Get a bit suspicious check my bank, yep charged 2x. No product and charged twice.
My bank is pretty good with Auth ACH/Hold charges and normally labels them as such and they do not effect my actual balance. These appear to be 2 full charges and I received zero product. Got a ticket in we will see how long they will take. Already been a few hours and in this day and age customer support responses should be kept to 1 - 2 hours at most but I assume I will hear something back within 24 hours. Pretty crappy first experience with the company so far. I hope they will work it out but for now no game and a chunk of money gone. So here I shall sit bored and not wanting to throw out more cash while this is in limbo and not knowing if they will push a charge through, refund both charges or what.

I won't do charge backs just on a whim but I appreciate the info. I work with vendors and large merchant companies and CC processors frequently. There is a proper process to follow in these cases and I will do the proper thing and give the company the time respond and fix the issue before escalating to such behavior even though it does suck .
Maelzrael, no it is the third party that made the mistake not Carbine or NCSoft. Just mostly posting to vent.
