I know I should be a good fan and do test server work myself, but here's a video of someone else previewing everything. Like/dislike?

    It's bearable if you recently watched the old cartoon series on Netflix, Surfer's the kind of character where you expect an echo or voice modulation and when it's not there it's weird, especially with how good the particle effects are on his moves.

     

    I thought the animation on the 2nd basic attack where he alternates hands, palming blasts was really iconic looking. Board is a little big overall, but I'm glad he's mostly on his board and not running around on foot. It's going to make the Silver Savage costume look like crap though.

    Bought him with 400 splinters and I've been pleasantly surprised. I wasn't expecting to level him next but he's a very mobile, ranged character. I can't decide how to build him yet either, despite his fairly small selection of abilities. I want to go with movement powers like Repulse(love the board twirl) and the lv1 dash & Comet Tail damage just for going thru and around enemies, but the focused Electromagnetic Flux beam is too good damage-wise. Although it's hard to maintain energy-wise for long. Graphics in-game for everything he does is amazing too, love the "kirby crackle" on his Flux beam.

     

    I think he'll be great for fast farming Omega levels, I just need to decide what to do with him.

    Ended up going with a movement-heavy AOE/melee build. Comet's Tail, Board Dash to move around and lay damage, Board Swipe, Supernova and Death From Below as damage cooldowns, Subspace Rift for the weakness utility in groups and tick damage while strafing around, and a lot of points in the EM Flux beam when I absolutely have to stay ranged. The AOE is really fun moving around constantly and the damage on DFB is superhigh, which is nice because it comes back so fast with board dashes. I'd love to alternate the build sometime with the teleport maybe, or mix in Decontruct/Reconstruct, but not necessary.

    It was competitive in damage to protect Dora Majile NPCs solo in the Vibranium Mines too, for what that's worth
