Shared Quest - Midtown Manhattan obscure goals

Now that we've had a week to do Shared Quests and get a feel for how they vary, which elements of the Midtown do you like the least? I feel like 1000 minion kills, 250 elites, and 8 bosses is more than fair, but I find myself getting stuck on the last small objective the most. The worst I've had has been "destroy 20 hidden AIM", which only counts turrets found in box piles and trash cans when you destroy scenery & not any actual AIM enemies, or "Assist NYPD 10 times" which seems to only count the bank robbery by thugs on the NE wall and the in-store robbery a few blocks from the base tower. I like NYPD less because if your Midtown is active, there's sometimes camping for the credit, and it just stops the flow of patrolling the zone.

    I'm really glad for days where the terminals don't want Doom. I've also started not getting the X-Defense tokens, so that's a coin toss whether it works or not for me now. I thought I was fine at first, but it's pretty consistently not giving me tokens at teh end anymore. Wish it could read successful waves like the Holo-SIm.

    Looks like we get our wish;

    "We replaced the NYPD objectives in the Monday and Thursday SQs with "Defeat Ambush Leaders" for a ton more consistency when there are several players in Midtown trying to complete the Shared Quest." -Ryolnir

    Glad to ear about the change, although I wasn't aware the shared daily was on a calendar-style schedule to begin with. Interesting to know!
