Luckily, we're talking about DF and not ESO, so you won't be banned...
Darkfall used to be terrible. But right now, it's amazing. The Jesus patch... they just had an easter patch, too.. still work to be done but if they continue in this direction, it's really going to change some minds.
I chose the Xfinity speed test because it does not reveal my ISP.

Got the game last week for $15 with the 2 months and its no longer even installed on my pc. As I said, games are like food. If you buy a hotdog and it taste like crap do you finish it or do you throw it away?

Ahh... you're one of those guys who died at goblins and ganked himself and then logged off after they figured out they lost everything... Agon is a harsh place, especially when you don't know not to gank yourself.

Your most played game is wakfu, that might explains it
Man, I'd been holding out for this game to get cheap enough to try for a year or so now, so I jumped on this.
Bought it, installed it last night, played through the tutorial.... and uninstalled it this morning.
Why?
-Graphics: This was the biggie; I felt like I was playing the original (OK, Luclin expansion) Everquest.
-Controls: It's like the elder scrolls games, but even worse.
-Gameplay: I could not figure out aggro at all; some times I thought I should have triggered an enemy but didn't, other times the exact same type of enemy in the exact same area will start shooting me from near the limit of my visual range.
Speed: Yes, yes, I know, "sandbox," "big world," but the days of people wanting to spend 15 minutes running through your scenery between real activities is over. Even if the scenery were gorgeous, it would be annoying, but it's not.
I didn't even make it to anything resembling character progression, which is usually the most important aspect of a game to me, but when it is ugly, ungainly, and un-fun, it doesn't matter.

I guess it's back to TSW until EQN comes out.
stick to your arena games then. its actually a real MMO world and not a collection of minigames. thats not for everyone
There are tons of MMORPG out there so what make this one special?
Here is a player very good in water combat and he lure his enemy to water and destroysthem. There are so many different meta possible with custom roles (4.5 billion combinations!). There are too not many games out there where you have this much freedom in combat. Now you can see it yourself for $5!

Let's not kid ourselves... this game is HARD. In every way. There certainly are flaws, inventory/ui, loot mechanics, some imbalances with the custom roles, tutorial is shit... But the negative reviews you're going to see are going to boil down to one thing: the game is too hard and too unforgiving for a lot of players. To be good, you have to be highly skilled in a very diverse range of skillsets AND succeed in the economic/social aspects.
This game has a tendency to chew up and spit out all but the most tenacious of challengers.
I chose the Xfinity speed test because it does not reveal my ISP.
The recent patch has been named the Jesus patch...it really is a savior...game is amazing now. I left and swore i'd never come back, but av has pulled through a gem now.
Lol damn the nostalgia that was a bloody fun battle, but what exactly has changed since then that they are calling jesus patch?
Basically ability to mix and match your roles which is nothing new if you look at hard and clear. The first game allowed you to be whatever the hell you wanted to be. Granted it has made the game a lot better BUT still after all these years they have zero fluff you find in a typical MMO. That is a must if they want retention; otherwise it is simply an arena PVP game in a big world.
Bring the added fluff AV then you will see people stick around.
