Greetings Landmarkers,
I am thinking about hooking up with a 3D artist to make stuff for Landmark to sell through Player Studio. After some research on forums and ingame building stuff, I am starting to understand the voxel system better. I think the voxel system is great and whole the Landmark idea is awesome, and as a gamer I am having a blast building stuff.
So, You can make slightly detailed things using various voxel techniques, micro voxels, anti voxels, smooting and so on. However, I just don't see voxel templates beeing something that would sell that well in Player Studio (atleast as the voxel system it is now).
What I do believe would be able to sell would be player made props, because those do not interact with voxels and the level of detail you could be able to do. Design 3D models in Maja and put them up on Player Studio as props, that is where I see some possibilities.
After browsing around for a long time I still can't find any official statements about player made props in Landmark, although Player Studio faq does have a vague mention of using Maja and other tools https://www.landmarkthegame.com/player-studio-faq
Can anyone supply any links to something official and non vague regarding player made props using 3rd party tools such as Maja ?
Cheers
