I have found that on my nightblade instead of me hitting for 340 with the initial shot and getting 120 health back like I should be on a consistent basis, I have been getting 60 quite often and as low as 10-17. Yes I hit with it for 340 and get 10 points back per tick in healing and often die if that was a hard fight.
This is only since the most recent patch. I used to see this sort of thing happen a LONG time ago but it has been good for over a month. I am wondering if they accidentally reverted the skill to the broken state it was initially in.
I had a few people in guild check it and most of them had similar results with both morph options, but more data is of course welcome. I /bugged it but this is kind of PAINFUL. I live or die by this skill.

If anyone is willing to respec, I would like to test something with this bug. If it is the same as the old bug, then it is Soul Siphoner's interaction with those skills.
What I would like is someone who runs foundary tactical or some other combat tracker to respec their nightblade and NOT take Soul Siphoner.
If the bug goes away with Swallow Soul // Funnel Health then post your result. I am sure others would follow and do a respec until the patch that refixes the skill (assuming they ever fix it again -- they didn't quietly put it in this time).
What triggered my memory here was the fact that when it fails, it often gives 15% of what it should give instead of the 115%. Then I remembered such. Generally the failskill gives the normal 115%, half that much, or 15%. If dropping this skill makes Funnel health do a consistent 100% of what it should do (IE 25% on the heal ticks instead of the 29% 14% 4% that is happening under the bug, then it would be worth it until they fix the skill).
If you are bold you could then try rebuying it but only at one level to see if it gives the consistent 108%(27%) that it should or if that simply calls forth the bug. Back in the early days of ESO when this bug was happening, it was never really confirmed if taking one step in Soul Siphoner was safe or not. Two was definitely NOT of course.
No need to respec, that is not the bug here.
I managed to replicate the bug consistently and know exactly what is going on with it.
While it typically works very much NOT in your favor, if used right it can be a HUGE exploit in PvP making massive healing ticks.
Hence this thread is done.
At least since this bug that I hate has an exploit attached to it, it will likely be fixed rapidly as opposed to waiting a month before they get around to it.
