excuse me, wtf is console gaming beta keys doing on MMORPG if Bill Murphy starts doing gaming reviews of any console games, I am off this website
Ps4 has 8GB of ram now , it can handle anything. It's also running some fancy mesh between gpu and cpu. The systems can handle everything that's available today. I just hope they continue to limit pvp to smaller numbers, except for games like Ps2 which has proven to be capable of handling larger battles.
Ps4 and PC are living in harmony with respect to FFARR. I haven't seen anyone on Excalibur belittle anyone for playing on PS4. Why would it even matter if Bill and any of the mmorpg team for that matter review console games? The consoles are essentially pcs now anyway. I use my gaming mouse and keyboard on my ps4 all the time. Also look at our two latest mmorpgs, ESO and Wildstar, eso was made for controller and Wildstar is great with xpadder, look at eqnext it's got made for controller written all over it, Tera, Neverwinter is being ported to xb1 mmorpgs on consoles is a real thing now. You will have to go play league of legends if you want to feel like a pc elite.
I didn't know Destiny was a MMO. I just thought it was another first person shooter with online game play like Halo, Battfield and the Call of Duty series. I'm going to have to check it out now.

it is sort of mmo. A city lobby like Vindictus, but outside in the exploration world you also see people going about their business (a limited number of people tho) while in vindictus its only you and your party. Its like the next level of instanced based PvE mmos. There are also team based dungeons like normal mmos. And pvp matches like normal shooters too.
EDIT: Thats what i experienced in the alpha a while ago. There is supposed to be a lot more content and planets and stuff.

Pve wise I experienced a much more polished version of defiance. Pvp wise I experienced Halo 3 which I love so no gripes from me.

1) MMORPGS DO exist on consoles as well. Hell, they have since PS2 / XBOX days. Even more will exist with the new gen of systems as well.
2) They've been covering more than just MMOs for quite awhile now
