Can a PS4 player also play his character on the PC

Hi, recently I purchased this game for the PS4, I was hoping to play it on my gaming laptop but its asking me for a 20 character code. The PS4 disk came with a code but its not 20 characters. I am on my 30 day free trial does anyone know where I can get this 20 character code? Do I need to also buy a PC disk?

Yes you can. I originally started on PS3 and now i'm on PC. The only thing is , is that you need to buy a PC copy to play but your character will be there waiting for you.
