YOu mean a new "Enhanced" skin? Yeah, they have these for several characters. Like Lady Loki for example. It's just an opposite gender skin with different voice acting to match. PRetty cool, IMHO. I'm hoping for an "enhanced" Storm to be honest, would really enjoy having a male version of that particular hero.
"Loki has tricked Odin into changing Thor's body into female and discovers levels of Celestial manipulation: humans evolve into mutants, born with powers at random, and mutants become deities, who have powers based on what others believe, and Skrulls are the next step, able to become what they choose."

Because majority of the new BSG fans never seen the original show or care for it even if they have heard about it.
I grew up watching the original BSG, and quite frankly, the new one was much better. The old one was just a camp-fest. There was not one thing about the old show that was done better than the new one.

I agree the show is better than the old one and I dont think it had to with what starbucks gender was. But I am right that majority of the new BSG fans never heard of the old show so it made no difference to them. But I do remember a lot of old BSG fans were mad about the gender change. Because to some BSG fans its like the equivalent of changing Links gender from Legend of Zelda.
its like they are saying that for a woman character to be popular she needs the fame of an established male character. Instead they should make a new female hero and make her awsome and gain the fame like Wonder Woman, Storm, Rogue, Batgirl who has their own established personas and just as popular as the male super heroes.

And my thought is just buy the marvel products you like and don't buy the products you don't like.
Does it have to be any more difficult than that?

My point exactly... wait long enough and no one will notice Obama is now a woman.
Marvel didnt wait long enough since thor and avengers movies and all the cartoons are still fresh, not to mention avengers 2 is coming like next year or something. Now imagine in avengers 2 thor is all of a sudden female, people are going to be like wtf?
Depending on who they choose to be Thor, they'll survive. They've done it before... they'll do it again... nothing is sacred.
Yea I highly doubt that
Have any of the movies followed the comics at all ?

My question is can nothing ever be discussed without someone jumping in just to say that?
Why can't people simply share their thoughts?

His post was on the topic of what the OP actually posted. Much more so than the side discussions that have popped up.

As far as I know none of the others were Thor. According to the story Thor is the woman.

It seems pretty intense to take something that you supported, especially the mercurial and ever changing and oft ridiculous universe of comics and essentially "throw the baby out with the bath water" simply because of one change that pales in comparison (if it even shows up on any measurable graph) to what comics have done to their characters in the past.
He supported them, they made a change on "one" character, didn't even alter Thor's sex, just had him lose the ability to carry this hammer and the next person who was worthy is a woman, and suddenly "no more marvel universe"?
I offered my opinion based upon his original post. Feel free to rebut with something that justifies never buying, viewing "supporting" anything from a giant studio because they made a change to one story line.
Or maybe I'm wrong. maybe that's perfectly reasonable.
edit: or, maybe he's joking. Sometimes it's hard to tell on these forums; in which case "cheerfully withdrawn".

Marvel didnt invent Thor so i really dont care if they make it a woman in the Marvel Universe. There is only one god of thunder and that is Thor, the Nordic god (not goddess). But yeah in the Marvel universe im ok with having a gal of thunder too. Make her dual wield hammer please!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, I thought the OP was talking about MArvel Heroes, seeing as this is where this was posted.
Eh. Can't say I really care. With all the multiple comic universes and what-have-you, it makes no never-mind to me if Thor becomes female.

It has nothing to do with that. Because I personally would think it would be equally stupid to change for example wonder woman into a man.
you mean him?
"I'll never grow up, never grow up, never grow up! Not me!"
Thats a marvel character, wonder woman is a DC hero
