NA Server Question

Hiya!

Good morning - giving Rift a try!

I notice there's only one PvP server (seastone).  Anyone know what the community is like there? The official Rift site doesn't have any realm forums.  Thanks!

Given that Rift is very quest pve oriented. It's not fun being ganked and campers sitting at a small outpost waiting for you to return to turn in or do your business.  It wasn't very populated last I played. People may not ever find you or mess with you.  But odds are roamers will hassle you. A bunch of people I had played with in WAR started out on the PVP server and eventually moved. The game just doesn't feel like it was built with world pvp in mind.  (Correction: It's likely had some big changes since release that make pve servers more convenient. I guess that would have been a better way of saying it?) It's not bad but I'd expect you will probably find a better experience on pve servers as far as finding others to group play with.

The good thing about rift is that you are able to have 1 server transfer per week while also being able to hope to different shards whenever, you just can't fully interact if you go there, such as trade/AH/etc, but you can still talk and party up with people on different shards.
