Halo 4 singer (who was the woman?)

Hi all,

I know this is a shot in the dark but does anyone know what woman that sung the halo 4 song and the hobbit songs? I know that description is vague but I'm posting on here because last year someone posted a link to her website and i cant seem to remember her name. I believe she is an indie singer, not sure if she was the real voice of it or not.

    The wikipedia entry for the Halo 4 soundtrack lists two females for vocals, hopefully one is the one you are looking for
