New way to Double Platinums PS3/PS4

So apparently you can connect a PS4 controller via a wired connection to a PS3, while still having it wirelessly connected to a PS4, and control both at the same time.
Therefore, if you have a game that is the same on both systems, ex. Sound Shapes, Dead Nation, The Last of Us, The Walking Dead (coming soon) etc you could play both at the same time, and therefore earn double trophies for playing them both. I should point out that I haven't tried it - but "Cowboy" from Naughty Dog was talking about how they did it for testing The Last of Us Remastered version to ensure they played the same and it worked.
Would you consider this cheating or morally wrong? maybe a exploit that will be patched?
