I enjoyed it
Reviewing the forums I noticed most of the post in the game forums are negative. Thinking about it I am wondering if that is because everyone who is enjoying it is busy playing instead of posting in a forum. So here I am.
I certainly am not recommending Eldevin. This game is not for everyone. Most of my friends can't stand it. However, I enjoyed its quirky, low graphic, grindyness. (This is some back handed compliment I have going on here!)
It's a great time burner with no demands or expectations. I spend most of my time gathering and crafting. I find some weird sense of accomplishment in doing it. Sometimes I find myself staying longer than I intend... I'll just farm 10 more wheat... next thing I know an hour has gone by. That is a mark of a decent game.
It will not blow your socks off but I have laughed at a few of the quest lines and I still visit my character from time to time. If you find yourself bored and looking for some mindless entertainment it is worth a bit of your time now and then!
