As for the whole "upgrade" system, they may as well call it for what it really is.... a MASSIVE dilithium (cash) sink.  The UI with all the clicking is poorly thought out and the pricing displayed is intentionally deceptive. 

 

Players who enjoy alting are in for a long, long, long grind as from what info has been posted so far on the official forums, it is going to cost in the tens of millions of Dil to upgrade multiple ships PER CHARACTER if they have them.

 

And again, timegating the completion process?  Really Cryptic.

Yeah this update is a total failure. Its all about milking money from player's. Tipical PW and lead crappy developer Al Geko Reveira crap. They know other space games are coming out so they want to milk it for as much as they can. This used to be suck a fun game before PW took over. It just getting worse with every update.

Yeah I have six 50s soon to be seven, or maybe not now, but I think they are all gonna be farmers now.  I may take them to level 60 but that will be about it.

Thanks for posting it. I'm not on tribble so need more info about it. I like the fact that we can have one character that will be specialized into crafting who can supply my alts with those upgrade kits. I will try to see how necessary will those upgrades be for new Elite difficulty. As I mostly do PvE, it won't be that important to have Epic mk14 gear as current difficulty can be completed with Rare mk11 gear.
