I just dropped $49 for the silver package and tried to log in!
2200 people in Q ahead of me or over and hour to log in.
DO NOT SPEND A PENNY ON THIS GAME UNTIL THEY GET THE Q SYSTEM RIGHT.
Comments
The que system works right just many people are trying to loggin, but yea wait a few days atleast to give the game a try. If someone still wanna try the game with Patron one gets in the fast que but its still a waiting time like 2 - 3h.
I will take the liberty of ignoring any advice by people who can't even be bothered to type the word "queue."
Also, your Patron Status doesn't kick in until you first load the game .. Meaning right after paying you will still have a huge queue.
My Patron Status didn't start until a day and a half after I had purchased it but when it did kick in, the queues went right down
I don't understand how ANYONE is paying for Founder's packs, alpha software, and so on. Seriously? Why?
Would you pay for a movie that hasn't come out yet, just to be able to see it before anyone else? NO.
Would you pay for any product that isn't finished yet and has no solid date when it will be finished? NO.
What is going on with this craze to pay money for an unfinished software???
Those steam "Early-access" scams are amazing. Why do people like throwing their money away???
Early access = founder's pack = trailblazer = STUPID.
People... wow. Just stop it. This is the WORST trend in gaming I've seen in 30 years.
Remember when games were released? On a CD? You'd buy the game, load up the CD, and play. You expected the game to be there, and to work without massive patches.
In today's downloadable games, they don't bother to put it on a CD, and instead sell it much earlier in the cycle. They know they can keep developing and patching the game after everyone buys it, so why not sell it half done? Plenty of people seem to be glad to buy half-baked software, in the hopes that eventually it will come together and be complete.
I'm still old-school, so I follow these easy rules:
- never pre-order, ever
- only buy a game once it has released officially, and not "alpha release" whatever that means
- only buy a game that you have either tried, or read enough reviews to know you will like it
- never ask for a refund, ever.

2024: 47 years on the Net.
Your going to have the same problem even being a patron during it's release period.
I booted the game over a hour ago and it stated I had a hour to wait whiled qued in at 1k+, well, that was a hour ago and still have a hour to go even at a que of 600.
Release periods are always wicked "ESO and WS" had ques as well and they weren't even F2P. It's the new shiny, especially a F2P shiny.
While ranting can be therapeutic, people who spent the $150 can actually get $120 worth of pure subscription for that, so they are really only paying $30 for in-game stats and swag, headstart, and 4+ stable prerelease months of a game that has been on sale for over a year. Playing prelease also grants an educational advantage for release.
Most founders watched the game heavily on twitch and youtube, knew what they were looking for, and are very happy with their purchase.
