I would like to level slow through the game to read all the quests and understand the lore. Is there a way to stop gaining exp. so that I am the same level as the quests I am doing?
Also so is there a god site to get lore info? Thx

I believe there's an NPC in the capital city that will do this for you (Orgrimmar and Stormwind).
It'll cost you a few gold to start and stop it each time though. Unless they got rid of that feature.
It's also worth noting that you don't lose the ability to do those quests when you outlevel them though, so if you don't care about XP, you could just keep doing them, and clear them zone by zone. (Though it won't be as challenging since you'll be way over the area's level range)
My SWTOR referral link for those wanting to give the game a try. (Newbies get a welcome package while returning players get a few account upgrades to help with their preferred status.)

One thing to keep in mind; you lose Rested XP. While you still accumulate it as normal for being logged out or in an Inn; it still gets used up, even though you technically aren't gaining XP. I found this out this past week. Was working archaeology. Noticed I got a message "you no longer feel rested". Went back to town, turned on XP, and my rested was gone.
