Will there be factions?

in EverQuest Next

Anyone knows if there will be factions for us to choose from in EQN? In the latest storybricks video they told us we could choose whatever side we want to, wich means there will be no factions? But the also said choosing different sides to fight for will open opportunities for pvp, how will that work? one minute were friends, the other enemies?

 

anyone know anything regarding this?

    I'm thinking that there will be factions as PvP is something they seem to want to explore. I'm not sure about having two primary factions though, seems like they are leaning more toward Rohsong factions (Dryads vs. Kobolds, etc.).

    Only thing we know about PVP is it will be in the game and it wont be forced on anyone. Other then that anyones guess is as good as it gets.
