Roleplay in Final Fantasy XI?

Hi, used to play FF XI back at launch and stopped after the first (non-Zilart) expansion.  Looking at all the changes, I'm toying with coming back.  However, I love to roleplay.  I was wondering if there was an unofficial RP server, and are there active RP linkshells?
