Buy the Beta or wait for the Mercenary edition?

in Elite: Dangerous

In the store they have the beta for $75 and includes the Mercenary version, also there is the Mercenary version for $50 that you can pre-order.

 

My question is, do I buy the beta at $75 or the $50 mercenary version? Why do I loose if I wait and get the mercenary version?

    You lose the option of helping to test the game before it's finished.

    If you just want to play the game .. buy the cheaper one.

    If you want to help in development and testing and in general you want to support the idea of kickstarter games blowing out of the water the established carbon-copy-yearly-versions-of-X games by publisher Y ... buy the more expensive one.

    You get the same results, but you may feel better with Version .... <insert here your choice>
