So AA released a patch today that opened up another area with more castles / land. All land is gone in other areas, so this patch was kind of a big deal. Now 90% of people can not log into the game and from what I am hearing most / all the land is already claimed by the few who were able to stay logged in. I understand things happen, but the main issue is Trion did not / will not bring down the servers or do a roll back. Here is the latest on their official response.
PDATE 5: XLGAMES has determined what we believe to be the cause of the issue which is intermittently affecting players and causing disconnections. They are producing a fix for it right now with an estimated delivery of 3-4 hours. Right now, we will not be bringing the servers down ahead of time.
So by the time they roll the fix out its pretty much guaranteed all land will be gone. People / land hackers in the game will own it all and others will have to buy it for crazy prices and fund the gold selling companies. What a joke.....

I am a patron of the game and would like land, but thats not the big issue to me. The main issue is the land hackers and the fact that they seem totally blind to it. Also with this issue the fact they are not bringing the servers down is mind blowing to me. The whole point of this expansion was the fight for castles / land. I heard houses were popping up within seconds by people no where near the zone..Also the majority of people can not log into the game so how is it even remotely fair or competitive? I just dont get companies now a days.
yeah at least on aranzeb all the land went in seconds.(excluding some 8x8 size plots here and there). t
he whole log in issue, mass land grab, and introduction of the hasla tier 2 and 3 is kinda depressing tbh.

Yes Trion mess up on some parts, but they don't make the patch or the game, they just hosting and add support to it for the western, if some thing needed to be fix or change they need to run it pass XLgames, and if XLgames games can say no or they can tell Trion we working on it not much can do after that.
With the problem with the hackers is more on XLgame blame on that, as hackers are easy coding pass there hack sheild or there game.
Anything like spammer and gold speller be on trion problem side.
And people like you need to learn they ARE managing it. These decisions are their own. People begged for them to stall the Auroria release because hacks had not been put under control. They did not create the game and have some limitations to what they can change, the rest is ALL them.
Stop apologizing for them, seriously.
There down now!!!!
I never thought i would experience another NGE type disaster.... i was wrong!
I kinda got the same feelings about AA when I first got to know what XL games were offering. The labor point system alone made me lose interest immediately. I hope those who paid the top packages don't feel too ripped off. Hopefully, they get some entertainment out of their purchase.
Please explain how a company that has no control of the game dev has control on what is being released and how to stop hacking?

I dont think you get it Ofgod...
Bots droped from the sky to claim all the housing..its a land hack..gone within seconds
With the exception of Vanguard ala 2007, I've never seen a game with a launch as bad as this one.
I thought there was no possible away Auroria could any worse, but I'll be darned if they didn't find a way.
You have zero clue what you are talking about. XL Games did not force Trion to release Auroria this soon. Halsa weapons were not even supposed to be in the game this soon, they were designed by XL to be released after about a year. The Asian/Russian releases are not near as cash shop oriented either, thank you TRION.
You don't know what you are talking about so just stop.
I'm just disappointed. The game is awkward but has tremendous potential. The combat was a sweet spot for me with tab target, instant cast, and movement.
The technical issues, illegal activity, and immature balance completely ruins the experience. All things which Trion and XL could fix if they were serious about investing in the game.
Trion's management of this has been abject failure. Anywhere else of course. And the fact that this can pass for professionalism speaks to their lack of passion.
Sad.
Wasn't gonna say anything...but I got Kettle corn goin :P
