Housing Question

in The Repopulation

From The Repopulation website, it sounds like players will, if nothing else, have access to at least one plot of instanced housing.  Is this true?  Am I guaranteed at least that much for my $25 or $50?  Or is there a catch?  After seeing what happened to ArcheAge founders who didn't beat the queues, I'm a little wary!

    All players can have instanced or open world housing, but while there is an unlimited amount of instanced housing you need to find an unclaimed space to claim an open world house.

    The housing is awesome! Even on a small instanced plot, a small building takes up barely a 1/3 of the space. Plenty of room for planting trees or plants or barrels or garbage piles, whatever. Inside decorating is like swg except easier to use.
