Morally i don't buy into the early access games but gaming has been very slow for me atm..
However, I need some more info about the game before i put down that $40 to get early access.
I know this is hard because its still under NDA, (which is going to break soon apparently?)
but hopefully i can get some vague answers here so i can make a more informed derision as weather to "pay now".
I have read the wiki, but still wondering on:
1. Visuals of armor types. (I see mainly the generic military armors and 1 or 2 heavy armor types which i'm hoping is some kinda power armor.. is that representative of the the games armor diversity?)
2.Visuals of Melee weapons (i posted in another thread about this but, Whats the deal with melee weapons? i have seen in the promo material that there are energy type weapons as well as physically based ones?. Is dual wielding melee in the game?)
3.Playable in eyefinity? (i know its very niche, but how well does it run?).
Hoping someone could answer those questions, Or maybe i should register on the official site?

Once NDA is listed can probably get some answers from some testers instead of our word for it, but for what it is worth :-0.
1. We have a mix of light/medium/heavy armor, that looks like armor. We haven't created a ton of armor sets yet, it most likely will come mid-late beta as we start dumping a lot more budget into art assets as creating good looking armor sets requires a an artist that is well trained in zbrush and other tools. We expect once it is all said and done we will have a variety of styles from more clothing/casual styles to a lot more armor set options for people to choose from to find a look that they desire.
2. If you would ask most people right now they would say melee needs a bit more work from a balance perspective. Dual wielding is possible, but ranged weapons are used a lot more in testing. This most likely will get a balance pass here soon as we have been analyzing a lot of this data to make some changes.
3. I believe it is, I personally don't have a setup like this and no one on our staff does so we don't extensively test it. I know we made some adjustments to action mode at higher rations (4:1, 5:1) to help with some issues that were reported in 3rd person action mode as a result of the high width to vertical resolution you get in eyefinity. I don't believe it radically adjusts the FoV at this resolution though, so you might not get a giant advantage out of it from that perspective.
