will not be out in 2015. BDO will be out in 2015 in korea, but its western release is for 2016. EQ:N will not be released this year, though the beta may make it out in time for 2015, I doubt that. So basically this is a list of a bunch of niche/indie games and 2 games that won't be released in the west in 2015. Pretty bad article tbh.
Life is Feudal, H1Z1 and The Repopulation seem to be embracing the "gank and grief the noob" crowd with their open-world PvP focus. Are we really lacking games of this type? I won't even participate in open betas, as I expect game play, about 2 - 3 days after release, to be nothing more than continuous death by headshot from sniper rifles / crossbows from 1800 yards away. Been there, done that, yawn.
I cant comment on H1Z1 yet but the other two are nothing like that at all.
Black Desert, Bless, Lineage Eternal and Lost Ark to have some fun in for a while. Camelot Unchained is what i'm most interested in seeing how it develops.
As for EQ Next and Landmark.... We know virtually nothing about Next compared to most other games and not even any info about the beta. So unless it's joined to Landmark directly somehow, I don't see it being out in 2015. We will probably start hearing about a beta in 2015, and likely more information about classes, professions and the like, but there's no way a release date is that soon. No word yet on the EQ Next beta, just on the Landmark beta, and if you go to the EQ Next home page, they talk about Landmark a little much.
As for Everquest Landmark... the housing in EQ2 is better and too much of it relies on stuff you buy from the store to be effective. It's another lesson in the greed of SOE. Considering this is the case, it makes me very worried for EQ Next. Unfortunately that's all I can say for now on Everquest Landmark.
wait wait wait......did this article seriously say summer of 2015 for EQN? Not a chance...they dont even have a game yet. They waited how many years after hinting at EQ:next before they did the HUGE unveil where they pretty much said "um, sorry..we dont have anything yet because we started over" But here's some crappy character models and lots of big plans for the future.
I'm sure they'll start selling the game in the summer of 2015......founder alpha alpha access and all that. But there wont be a game.
Although World of Tanks is a success, World of Warplanes was a miserable failure. It remains to be seen if the company can leverage WoT for other games. Even WoT suffers from the lack of a skill based match making system that creates a completely imbalanced player experience and a toxic player culture.
Is more on crafting than PvP but that aspect does rely on groups. Still needs quite alot of work done but i have been enjoying my bits of playtime when i drop in to it. Yes i did buy it for £25, can be got now for about £17/18 but it is still only in alpha stage. However at least one can see how the game develops and grows.
Now i know buying a game in its alpha test stage is not right (paying to test the game should be free) and then buy it at release. However i can see why companies decided to go through this route of buy the game, due to many people jumping into beta's, not giving feedback and then dumping and bashing the game at release. There is also a risk here though, if a game fails or staff dump it you have lost the game and your money.
Most of teh other games on the list i have not checked out. World of Ships looks interesting but with warplanes being somewhat poor my verdict on ships is scheptical, Everquest Next for me would be one to bypass. Someone mentioned shroud of the avatar but i could not get into that game when winning a beta spot from mmorpg.com and since it moved to steam i have been unable to log into the game since to keep upto date with it to see if the game mechanics changed a bit (especially the combat) which i found dull.

The only 2 games that I am interested in:
EQ:N
Black Desert Online

Skyforge should have entered that list, games looks really crazy good.
EQ it's still so early, game won't release in 2015 for sure. I lost all the hype i had on that one.
Pretty much everything on this list... meh.

Life is Feudal is quite a good in depth game.
