Metal Gear Rising for 6 bucks. Thats all i got. I have been quickly losing interest in buying DRM games that arent mmorpgs. So i dont buy from steam anymore like i did before.
Hopefully GoG brings more DRM free AAA games to their store.
the only game on my wishlist so far is Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons.
i usually never cared for DRM if it was specific to Steam and on limited situations on Origin, but i have over 100 games on steam and i dont feel like i want to keep supporting that practice of not owning the games i pay for. Again, that excludes mmorpgs for obvious reasons.
I picked up Kerbal Space Program, and really enjoying it. Also picked up Turbo Dismount, fun game to play in spurts of 1/2 hour or so. Debating whether I should finally pick up Mad Dogs now that it is 40% off.
Only one I am considering is Valkyria Chronicles. Haven't played it yet and the reviews seem positive. Nothing else has really drawn me in.
I mainly play Baldur's Gate style RPGs and 2014 wasn't a big year for them. Looking forward to a few in 2015 though. Witcher 3, Pillars of Eternity, and Torment: Tides of Numenera to name a few. I imagine I will enjoy next years Steam sales more.

I disagree, and so does almost every major publication in the video game industry considering Divinity: Original Sin came out in 2014, as well as the Shadowrun series on iOS/PC, Icewind Dale remake, and Wasteland 2

Greenmangaming is the best place to buy that atm, use code 25HAPP-YXMASF-ROMGMG and the total is $2.25.
Actually to be honest Greenmangaming has been having better sales than Steam and the only stuff i've bought has been from there, I got Mickey's Castle of Illusion, Devil May Cry 4 and Sleeping Dog Definitive Edition all for a combined price of $15 after discounts. Steam sales themselves have been pretty weak.

Shadowrun Returns is on sale for $3.00
I also bought The Legend of heroes: Trails in the Sky and Hammerwatch to play with my friends. A friend of mine gifted me How to Survive and Blade Symphony.
Video game sales not being a thing for the first 25 years of my life kind of ruined my ability to use logic during steam sales...
Also picked up The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky when it went of flash for 50%. Best I've seen so far. Also grabbed 3DMark, Portal 2, Castlestorm, and the current Humble Bundle to try out Forest of Doom.
