Firefall is pure unadulterated unchanged triznash. Get that the eff outta here. I can't even begin to form the sentences necessary to explain how much of a bait and switch bomb that game is/was. They can't blame Mark Kern either because after he left it became generic unfinished trash. When all their fans tell them how trash the game is all Red5 says is "LALALALALALALALALA buy some Red Beans, double XP weekend guys! Stop with the hyperbole!"
"As far as the forum code of conduct, I would think it's a bit outdated and in need of a refre *CLOSED*"

Exactly... League of Angels and Scarlet Blade come to mind

Bill's endless hatred towards those Angels surfaces again! :P
"Familiarity breeds contempt" indeed! And Mmorpg.com is very familiar with that League of Angels! (Though I did notice they often have a new pair of boobs on the main page these days. Hello Stormfall! :P))
My SWTOR referral link for those wanting to give the game a try. (Newbies get a welcome package while returning players get a few account upgrades to help with their preferred status.)

If you click on the boobs, even by accident because your mouse pointer just sort of wandered there of its own accord...cough, you quickly realize the ads are the best thing about the game.

ESO!! the only good thing about the game was graphics. Cyrodil was okay but got boring fast every thing else sucked, gms especially. I tricked one into duping my gold and reimbursed me a bunch of stuff I never lost. They full out didn't give shit about economy.

I don't know about that. Any sci-fi MMO that allows you the freedom of customization to select your undergarments and bathing suits is pretty deep. I will admit, though, that I was a bit disappointed that there there wasn't the ability to customize cup size and there was no stats for Jumping ability. Some critical oversights IMO /sarcasm
But can i do it 100% solo, like a single player game?
No. You can do lots but there are still instanced 4-man dungeons that you can no longer outlevel and do solo (scales to group leader level) and one whole zone, Craglorn that is designed for group play... although some people with good gear and builds do solo a lot of it as a challenge.

This thread is about what game you think failed. You dont need to be rude for someone saying what game they hated in a thread thats the topic. IMO I agree with him, ESO sucked for many many reasons. This is someone who on these forums was a big supporter of the game before it came out.

You should pick your spots better, Nan. The dude admitted having scammed a GM into duping... and then said the developers don't give a shit about the economy. Is that really a poster you want to white knight for?

Originally posted by Lord.Bachus I cant judge Arche age as i did not play it, so that leaves my vote with FF14, so slow, tried it again last month and never got past level 8, obviously the game is not for me..
If you don't like reading the quests and enjoying the atmosphere in FF, I can imagine it is not for you. It depends what people like, best way to play FFXIV for me is enjoying the game at my own tempo.
I treat FFXIV like a book with endless pages, I am not in a rush.
I love it when someone insinuates that you're some plebian loser because you don't enjoy their game for their reasons.
I make an effort to try and emotionally attach myself to the characters in a game so I get the most out of it. The character I got the most emotionally attached to was my leatherworking trainer. All of them were flat as flat cliches but she was the one who made me feel something, when i got my LW to 20... I can't type this without crying. She finally accepted that I might be good enough to be her student. *sob*
Still doesn't make up for the other parts of the game, the god awful gathering leves ugghhh, or the profession system entirely.
Back OT, I voted for ArcheAge. It's the game I had the most fun in, but since it let me down so roughly it's the worst game ever. I don't feel as bad with games that aren't as fundamentally "good", maybe they're not for me or maybe they're still working out the kinks like with ESO. I mean that's bad but what's worse is seeing a truly fun game go into a death spiral due to mismanagement and a total lack of work ethic in the foundation of its development. That is almost heartbreaking and that's why AA gets my vote.
I feel bad for Archeage. I think initially during beta ESO was quite bad but they have improved over the months and I have bought the game and will be giving it another shot.
Well Destiny and ESO are great games. I still play XIV daily as well, much fun. Gonna have to go with WildStar.
Honestly surprising AA is beating WildStar to me. I barely know anyone that fell into the trap of AA to begin with, and Wildstar was just the worst thing to hit the MMO market in years. Guess it's all opinion anyway /shrug.

AA would have been my second pick for worst MMO after ESO. AA holds a special place in my 16 years of MMOing. Its the game I quit the fastest lol
WoW: Warlords of Draenor , because it brought nothing to the genre (as always).

Elite by a long shot, they managed to be on MMO sites without a single actual MMO feature or even players around
-Gane is lacking content that makes AoC or SWTOR launch look perfectly content filled and bug free in retrospect
-They cancelled offline mode and tacked on DRM instead (behold single player always online mode)
-They refused to give refunds because people downloaded an ALPHA and dared to launch/try it before they knew they will cancel offline mode
-They have a ridiculous server errors completely trashing prices giving players 5 billion credits and let them KEEP the loot
-just to name a few insane things going on with this title. Archeage can't be half as bad or incomplete, absolutely impossible.
