Can anyone recommend an MMO with a particle effects toggle?
I'm looking for any recommendations of MMOs that have an option to turn off particle effects for player animations. Visually, I just can't handle the obnoxious and exagerated glowing swirls, pulses and whatnot that accompany swinging a sword nowadays. Once you get several players together, and then have to try and constantly stare through it to read casting bars and/or watch for subtle ground effects, it makes a game unplayable for me, no matter how much I love it or want to play it. I know that some games have it, and sadly some don't. So, I'm hoping some of you guys can help me find a game where I can make it so I just see the characters moving, and not the strobe lights!
Oh, I don't care if it has toggles for the environment or anything like that. It's player character animations that are the issue.

Thanks for the reply! I did some reading in the Runescape section, and am not sure it's the game for me (like with the click-to-move element, instead of WASD movement). But it does give me an option.
Still hoping to hear of some more games. I know there's other people out there with the same concern as me.
