Made a video about a recently released browser game, but it doesn't seem to be an MMO even thoguh it's advertised as one

just looks like a clone of many other 'freemium' games out there (Jagex's War of Legends instantly sprang to mind at the start of this video) the combat is a little different than most i'll give it that but still the game doesn't have anything that grabs my attention and makes me want to play it, in fact the opposite is true it seems to have many traits of games i try to stay clear of one of which is the 'pay to win' aspect. Your success in a game should come down to your skill not how much money you have.

The "pay to win" is not neccessarily a problem. But it got blown up on Server 8. The guy used his cash to drop phantom armies in places that prevented other people to grow and enjoy the game. There were proposals to improve the game balance but the folks at 37games did not honestly talk with the players who had complaints. Even after many players left the server and the game, they continued to turn a deaf ear to the cries of players who thought the game had possibilities. The person on server 8 has decimated the 3rd place group and his group's membership. But he is the strongest player on the entire server. (He just won a server wide competition.) So I guess they will start folding him and Server 8 into another server until they have as much money from him as they can get.
