I'm just tired of Blizzard worship. It's just like Apple worship, there's almost no difference. If a company makes a good product, fine. But don't talk about them like they can't do any wrong and everything they make is golden. It's utterly sickening.

I don't even play WOW but i'm certainly not blind to the point that many people do play and enjoy it immensely and think it's amazing.
I certainly think FFXIV ARR is an amazing game but I don't go shouting in game that it's amazing when I login. I just login to play the game because i enjoy it immensely.
WoW is not my king. I do not like WoW. It is so boring. Once you have played GW2 long enough you get so annoyed at quest hubs in other games and the level and gear grinds.
WoW has so many subs because of so many casuals that bought it as their first MMO and stuck with it. You can run it on a toaster as someone said. Then you have the WoW fanbois that talk in-game telling those casuals that this is the best experience you will get and all other MMOs are terrible. So there you have it.

GW2 is a failed WoW clone. Nothing more, else people would be playing it and [edit]. If what you said were true, then WoW would have competition out here. But it doesn’t. What ever population a game may have upon release is from active WoW subscribers. When that population leaves and returns to WoW. The remaining 6%, they too are WoW subscribers (or whales as they have come to be known). They are certainly not the 0.01% of gamers disgruntled in WoW’s success. Those gamers haven’t found a game to their liking. Because they don’t enjoy MMORPG, and they can’t win at gaming console FPSs.
What they want is a FPS with a community they can beat. And WoW was just like an FPS for them, unbeatable.
