Is it possible to change the name of this site to reflect today a little better.

MMORPG.com is a little misleading and dishonest, and sooo 2000.

I suggest OG.com (online games). It's new. It's fresh. It represents the new games and the new players. It says to me, we are moving on. We are the future.

Anyone else have a suggestion for the new name of this site?

Why not type banana? It's just as relevant to this sites content as MMORPG.

How about we keep the original name... Seeing as it is a brand and that the name is not "weonlywriteaboutmmorpgsthatpeoplewithrosetintedglasseslike.com"

MMORPG.Com works perfectly well... Even if you break it down... Just because it does not fit your idea of the genre.

After all i don´t think you are a norse god but i do not go around demanding that you change your name.... misleading as it might be. =P

Shouldn't the name reflect the content?

Would you go to a site called Kiteflying.com to talk about flying drones?

Well the last thing i talked about was why Poker is gambling compared to MMORPG´s cashshops

So it seems that i am on a site about MMORPG´s and talk about said subject.

But by that logic you will change your username now then... Seeing as you are not a norse god...

Same here. However, I get the feeling these new 'ideas' threads he's posting are less about offering constructive site suggestions than one might suspect.

If it had a section that talked about flying drones that I found interesting the answer is YES.

But you do see my point that this site has nothing to do with MMORPGs and more to do about MMOs as a whole, don't you?

I wouldn't run a site about smartphones and call it rotaryphones.com. It makes no sense.

i do see your point, but its not entirely necessary to change the name since the main focus is still mmos with and without rpg elements. IMO its just better to separate the game list per type of game/genre instead of having one huge game list with some filters while keeping the name of the site. Look at the non mmo coverage as an added bonus.

And now you made a boo-boo... Sweetie you had such a good thing going and then you just dropped it...

This site has a lot of things about MMORPG´s... Oh... You are one of those...

Well if it is any consolation they do post about EQ1 and UO every time there is any news to report on...

Any way... as fun as this was... You sort of ran out of juice... I wish you the best of luck.

Well then, based on your narrow definition, this site should be called:

    www.iliketoargueoverthedefinitionofmmos.com

I wouldn't mind those changes at all. I'd really like to see the main focus shifted back to MMORPGs. I don't mind MMOs, but there should be a clear separation of sorts, like you suggested.
