Hi,
I have an Asus G50VT laptop circa 2008/2009- Core 2 Duo, P8400, 4Gb Ram and Nvidia Gforce 9800M GS. Will I be able to enjoyably play this game?
Thanks for your input.

The game definitely is not heavy on the graphics end, looks like a 2010 game, but atm its kinda hard to give a solid answer...I have been playing the early alpha since beginning of last years and the FPS is horrendous, not as bad as the repopulations but still very bad, no tsure when they plan on optimizing the game but keep an eye on that, then ask the question. I run an FX6300@ 4.2ghz, R9 270x and 8 gb Ram, and FPS is still dreadful...but again its noting to do with my setup, just the game atm is very poorly optimized.
I do recommend using a budget PC instead of a laptop though, you will have a hard time with pvp on that laptop regardless of the games optimization.
At this moment game is more vital on CPU than GPU. Still - your laptop might be too old for anything than a low settings.
Anyway, we are heavy optimizing game last weeks and it will go better and better each update. If you want to try it, please send me your mail via private message and I will send you access. We are curious if it can handle it.

I purchased a Dell Precision a few months before hearing of the game. I have the graphics set at med mostly and rez at 1280x720 and I get 28 - 34 fps in the US. It has an i7 2.8ghz with 8gb ram and a K1000M Quadro 2gb card.
Wish you all the good fortune at getting it to work smooth for ya.
Oh and love this game !

While launching the game I am not sure, but while playing the game My Video card is in use.
But I will do some more researching of my unit and see what can be done. :-)

Great processor, but terrible GPU, the K1000M Quadro isn't really meant for games, but used in notebooks rather than laptops afaik, as the K1000m has about half the number of cores than even a Nvidia 640m has (and is significantly less powerful than), i think the only reason your probably able to get the performance you do is due to the i7, kind of a weird combination, and i am guessing you didn't get the notebook for gaming on
