Playing ESO I am realising just how done I am with themepark games, it's not a bad game by any means its just more of the same, I have been playing themeparks since EQ @ 1999 but I just cannot play for more than 30 minutes before i get bored and start considering all the other things I could be doing instead.
I really do hope 1.6 and B2P helps this game out, there are things about it I really like, unfortunately it just wont be with me supporting it.
My biggest issue I guess and why i still login like 30 mins every day is I just have no clue what else I should play.
Am I alone in feeling this way?
Oh and gz to Zenimaxx on the Justice system, theres kinks to be sorted out, but it really is a great start towards the game feeling more like an Elder Scrolls game.

If its sandbox games in general however then you may want to try a different type of game. No idea what you might like but maybe browse the Humble Bundle Store or Steam? From simple but brilliant puzzle games e.g. The Room through to strategy games like Civ5 or Crusader Kings II. There are lots.
And if you find something and get hooked you might play it for a week or a month, maybe play more than one something. At some point however you will feel you need for a change, you will feel like you do now. Having been away from sandbox games for a little while however you may find that they are just the thing. Until you need another change.
Any graphical, audio, or gameplay restrictions not seen in other mmos but found in FFXIV can be blamed on one thing.
PS3
holy shit! i play a few different mmo's myself but that is a crazy list of games to be playing all at once. personally i usually only play one mmo at a time, usually for a month or two and move on.

I do rotations like that. Playing multiple more or less at the same time.
What I played today:
GW2
Marvel Heroes
Duke Nukem 3D
"We all do the best we can based on life experience, point of view, and our ability to believe in ourselves." - Naropa "We don't see things as they are, we see them as we are." SR Covey
Indeed variety is the spice of life. I like to have about 5 games going at a time. Typically only one mmo but I have juggled three at one time before.
I like to mix it up between console, PC, and handheld games.
Like the OP I would love to lose myself in a virtual world and play for weeks in a game. Unfortunately, I am unable tp find such a game. Maybe it is more me getting older and not so much the game itself. Lately Ive been doing a rotation of sorts myself . It does help.
Lately it has been GW2, LOTRO, ESO, and some Project Gorgon. I also tend to play a game heavy if there is a recent expansion/patch.
Yes I am a hardcore gamer .
Seriously - when a new patch lands for any of the games in my rotation I might play it exclusively for a day or 2 - but I rotate games a lot.
I haven't played a single game exclusively since 2003 - which used to be EQ1 - but then I started doing DAoC, EQ1 and AC/AO - yeah I was doing 5 subs per month as I had 2 DAoC accounts (buffbot + main)
I've also 6boxed EQ1 at one point
oh i have boxed EQ1 as well back in the day(preferred to group with my guild tho), i had a 2 PC set up but i could only run 5 accounts at once on them lol
but for me, i can't stay interested if im playing all these different character progression games at once, i lose interest.
i'm one of those types that usually starts over if i haven't played an mmo in a year or more because i cant get into my old character anymore.
i can play an mmo and then something like poe or D3 on the side and still have them both hold my interest, thats about my limit though.
