Best leveling spots 40 to 50

Greetings everyone. I recently got this game and am having a blast doing it. I love the feel of old school MMOs. My main job at the moment is thief. I am level 39. I am wondering what the best spot is to level from 40 to 50? I have trusts to help me out. My sub job is monk.

The cool thing is you can go anywhere,outside offer books to get added xp by,however imo the best places are always in caves/underground.

Your best options are 

14/16-20/21 King Ranperre's tomb "enter East Ronfaure" Another good location is maze of Shakhrami "Entrer via Tahronghi Canyon". Do page with Goblins,there is another book at other end of zone where is more goblins.

21-28 or so  Korolloka Tunell "enter via Bastock Mines"  Worms/bats there are two places,nearest to book and other side of bridge leads to many bats and worms.

25-33 Lower Delkfutt's tower "enter via Quifim zone"  Bats/gGigas

33-40 Upper Delkfutt's tower .This can be a pain for new players to get to because you can take the elevator up with the key item or you have to climb ten flights of stairs and various portals.However if you take the long climb up you can kill a fast spawning NM that drops the keys to be able to use elevator next time.

An alternative is Yhutunga Jungle but this can be a pain as well because you need to do a mini quest to get access to take the Airship to Kahzam.

40-48/50  Crawler's Nest "Access via Rolanberry fields,chocobo from Jueno". Bees and Crawlers,if you drop off ledge past the bees there are more crawlers in two of the tunell's and then more bees on way back up to top.

40-48/50 Garlaige Citadel  Bats and Bettles  I like this zone however one big problem.Your Trust NPC's struggle to navigate near the holes that can fall to zone below.They won't fall but they will sometimes just stand there confused lol.Eventually they will find their way but you may be fighting alone for several seconds until they arrive lol.

50+ one my Favorite zones "Labyrinth of Onzozo"You can go there a tad earlier to fight the goblins at 44+ but i tend to just go there after Crawlers or garlaige at 49/50 and fight Mushushu and Cockatrice.The book can take you all the way to level 70 but i like to move out earlier to keep my weapons skilled up.

52-to whatever you want 99 even."Bostanieux Oubliette"This zone is accessed through Chateua D'Oraguille in North SanDoria. There used to be a lot of book burn parties here  at one time,you can move from the obvious bats page all the way to Blood Suckers page that takes you to level 99 if so desired.

Personally i would keep an eye out for Worm Parties in Abyssea around level 75+ depending on your class,as a BLM for example or even Healer you could go a little earlier.

I actually did it the hard way leveling my BST all way to 95 in Oubliette before finally going to Abyssea,personally never liked Abyssea and is even tougher now with less parties forming there.There is also a chance at OPS Alliances forming in Abbysea as well,a lot tougher depending on class,i would recommend if not healer of Blm or Scholar to perhaps use it as a Merit point addition at higher level.
