Not a ton of new info, but a good interview about the genre as a whole and how CF fits into it. Seems like many glaze over as soon as PVP or anything different then the norm (that has been the norm for 5-10 years depending) is shown, but I'd find it hard to believe that folks with zero interest in CF would disagree with a lot of what they are saying. CF might not be THE game for everyone, but it is good to see companies/devs wiling to try other things besides whatever version of the themepark or mindless PVP gankfest.

The days of massive numbers seem long gone and trying to be blockbusters out the gate (Wildstar, ESO, AA, etc) aren't doing anyone favors. Smaller, focused, niche games are where the genre seems to be heading and I'm glad. See many chiming in on a particular game forum on how it isn't for them because XYZ, which is fine. Go find something that is and we can all be happy. There doesn't have to be one game to rule them all, but that doesn't mean a smaller product can't be just as enjoyable and successful relatively.

    Thanks for the link!

I feel that the host asked questions more based on his general MMO culture than any kind of deeper CF preparation, giving it somewhat generic feeling.  Anyway, I guess he simply had his regular audience in mind, and it all turned out OK in the end - some, basically, well known info together with few new details such as hard skill cap being confirmed.

PS for what it`s worth, here is the CF forums thread about the vid.

     W...aaagh?
