How much free space is needed to install the game?

Currently have 79gb free and it's coming back with an error saying there is not enough space. Surely this is a bug? The main game is like what, 30gb? Hardly a good returning impression so far.

Well to freed up 85gb free and it's now installing.. that's a crazy stupid amount to need  and hurts when you only have a 250gb SSD.

I think it is around 50g with the new patch to 1.6. But i could be wrong.

If I remember the base game at release was close to 35g and needed at least 50g of free space to install. It may be close to 60g now tho. Last patch was around 15gigs.

With 79 gigs free you should be fine.

Maybe ask a CSR and see what the issue is.

Edit:

If your good at 85 G free then the total size is probably somewhere around 60gigs. Installer is going to want you to have the extra space available just for the install. After it is installed it wont be that big.

The issue is that like all software programs it needs extra space during the installation for temporary files and such.

It's why on most boxed games they'll tell you to have x free space to install, even if the actual game takes less.
