I recently started playing mortal online and after a ton of crappy themepark mmos it felt like a breath of fresh air.I found the world interesting;it felt like it was dangerous and mysterious and all that cool crap.Just like most new players i spent most of my time in Tindrem murdering dead stuff and selling their skulls to random npcs for small amounts of money, before spending that money on books to learn skills to earn more money.

Throughout my month in Tinderm and around i got murdered multiple times when i ventured outside the city for a few minutes to explore.I also got nearly got murdered by multiple bandit mobs that littered the sewers and the slumy part of Tinderm. This didnt bother me at all since i got into the mmo knowing it was hardcore and i knew my belongings would be instantly lootable the moment i died, instead it made me feel much more immersed in the world.I even got murdered a few hours ago and still the fun i had with the game only grew.

After a few weeks of playing the game i decided to look up some guides and such online and was disappointed when found that nearly none existed(before i realized a forum existed). So i decided to ask around and write down anything i found useful to share online later. This experience was extremely pleasant whenever i asked for help from other players i was politely pointed in the right direction (Unless the person was trying to murder me).Up until this pointed i had not experienced any bugs in the game except for a few crashes so i did not really think the game was buggy,However this opinion changed when i realized the auction house system in the game did not let me track my items, when i contacted support from the in-game system i was left without an answer. However i tried to do this at a time when the support staff could have been asleep so i was not too annoyed. So i tried again at another time and got a quick and polite answer. Before trying again i had also posted on the forums and that also got a quick and polite answer.I was pleased with the service i got however i found it kinda sad that the game still had problems like these when it was a few weeks away from releasing new content (sarducaar or however you spell it) i wanted to post a question on the actual forums but after reading some posts on this forum i don't know if that is a good idea or not.

I had even started putting aside some money to donate to the SV after reading the posts on this forum i am not too sure.I also read up on the steam greenlight page and was kinda shocked when i saw the devs did not allow players to post comments about shady GMs and such.

However i believe in the phrase "innocent until proven guilty" so i'm here to ask you a few questions (i tried asking paratus who is the developer on steam greenlight but he was too busy playing cs go to answer my questions)

1.Can you provide proof of SV's favoritism among guilds and or players?

2.Why does SV not allow posts about Corrupt Gms and would i get banned if i asked them on the forums?

3.Is there anyone i can contact who will actually answer me without threatening me or ignoring me who works for SV.

Needless to say,i don't hate this game; my experience with it so far has been extremely pleasant and i love this game i even got a few friends to start playing. But that does not mean i won't stop playing if i learn the company providing this service is shady.

Sorry but a brand new account with a post like this just smells of troll post.

I've stopped bothering reading these forums bout MO, cause it's the same peeps hating on SV all the time. It's like a full time job for them. Quite remarkable. So people that actually care about the game, don't bother posting here at all, cause here at MMORPG you will more or less only read bad things bout the game. This is the first post I do here in a long time, and I won't bother coming back cause the haters will soon spoonfeed you the same BS again.

Personally I've played this game off and on since beta, and I've personally never ran into any corrupt GMs. It's been some problems with the volunteer staff over the years, but SV is a small team of 2-3 devs only. They can't afford to hire a staff for that, so they've gotten help from the players. Not all of them are stand up players.

I like SV for what they are trying to do, and they, just as AV with DFUW, is a breath of fresh air in this static world of MMOs. If you are for real, I would just enjoy the game for what it has to offer. If you don't wanna support them. Don't. But I would base that on your own experience and not on peeps that trolls these forums.

I just had an extremely pleasant chat with an ex starvault employee (paratus) he stopped playing cs go and actually started talking to me!(pretty nice)

He basically answered all my questions and honestly my faith is restored.

Lahuzer, thank you for answering me and i guess you are right.

I was just surprised at all the posts about Gms and such...

Paratus is an ex-employee?   Had not realized he left....

Anyhow.. back to your original post where you ask about getting banned for simply questioning them.  Why not simply pose your question on the official forum?  If you get banned or moderated, that should tell you all you need to know.  If they answer you in an intelligent way, that will provide you more info.

So instead of asking here.. go there and ask the question you have.  If they ban/moderate you they have not changed their ways and would obviously not be the type of company you would trust.  if they were open and honest with you then you would feel more comfortable with them....

    So give it a shot...

I am so surprised people are still playing this. I feel like it was such a let down.
