Announcement regarding DFO: we are still investigating technical issues.

Dear Darkfall Players,

I'd like to inform you that we are still investigating if it is possible to bring back Darkfall Online from a technical point of view.

Before doing a kickstarter, and if we do it, we have to find out all the possible problems and if there are any problems that we cannot solve in a logical timeframe after the kickstarter.

This means that we do not know if we are going to do a kickstarter for DFO. We still have not decided yet. It all depends on if we can see that we do not have very difficult technical problems to solve.

    That doesn't mean it probably will return. It means the community was demanding an answer about it, so they gave the most non-committal answer you can think of.

    A kickstarter for a game that existed in the past, by the developer that shut it down in the first place?

    They announced that DFUW servers will be merged and wiped in case they reopen a DFO server. No way in hell they would mention a wipe, if it wasn't a realistic option.
