I can only see it get worse as consoles enter the mix i would like to see auction house added to game as well this is getting silly really or personal vendors that you can plop anywhere similar to age of wushu.

Consoles will be on different servers so it shouldn't impact the PC vendors.
Has something changes making in-game money worth something apart from buying bank slots?

Actually, I was under the impression that console users will be on teh SAME servers as the rest of us are, it is one of the reasons why the subscription fee was removed.
Not sure how things work in the game yet, but i was also told the game had loads of players, I am not seeing that, alot of guilds are picky, most of teh add-ons have not been updated in almost a year (or have been discontinued). The buying and selling is a pain in teh arse, its easier to just constantly spam the chat as far as i can tell, if you go to guild vendor you have to manually check each and every single item on there in that field to see if there is something you want. Its shit.
They will all be on separate servers.
Now, there very well may be some connection to going buy to play because they couldn't get consoles to be pay per month (the systems they use or plans they or maybe the companies that make them, no idea) but there is no evidence of that other than the pc version going buy to play before the console versions are released.

Consoles will have different servers they have said it multiple times. The sub fee was removed so that the console players would be more likely to try out the game, since usually console games do not have a sub, and if they do they aren't hugely successful (excluding Final Fantasy games). Also to retain PC players as well, since most games see a huge dropoff after a couple months. I think before they went to B2P the game had around 800k subs, which is really really good for a sub based game.
Addons have been updated quite often, and all of the major ones are frequently updated, so I do not know why you are trying to paint such a negative picture. The curse website doesn't have frequently updated ones, but if you go to ESOUI which is where most of them are, they are updated all the time.
The population is quite large in the game as well. I have yet to go into an area where I did not see a couple people roaming around, and that's anywhere from level 1 to 30 because I have characters around all of those levels.
If you want to buy and sell you can always go join a trading guild, which is really really easy, if you find a large enough one you can easily auction off items to other guild members. You aren't going to be selling some low level crap sword if you put it up, but frequently used crafting mats have always sold within a day for me in the one I'm in.
Indeed the sub was abolished because Zenimax believe they will make more money through higher console sales. If they had kept the sub on the PC however then - you have to assume - "many people" would migrate from the PC to console.
As far as the number of subscribers prior to abolishing the sub we have no idea; the 800k number was a first month guess by one of the web sites; even if accurate as you say most games see a huge drop off in subs. Bottomline however: we have no idea.
And things would have to be very bad indeed if you go into any area and don't see some people since the game only has two "mega" servers.
On a bright note the console launch has a TV ad!
