Any updates on when MMORPG.com is getting that all-too-often rumored facelift?   Or has it happened, and I'm posting on the old forums or something :E  Just curious.

    No, it hasn't happened yet. You're not lost in some sort of forum graveyard, lol. All I've heard though, is that it should be coming soon (which doesn't seem to be soon enough).

    Oh my god, the forum update that happened just moments ago... Arghh.

    The forums really needed an update, but this one just made it harder to read.

    It got harder to find the timestamp of the posts (I just see the date below the pic.. very unintuitive); it got harder to identify the OP's posts in a thread; it broke (bad) a bunch of signatures; it just spammed me 5 emails about notifications; it just got a lot harder to read the forum's thread list (too wide between each other, make them more compact).

    And really just a preference, but the crazy default forum pics with a bunch of different (seemingly) random colors... No. Just no ;)

    The forum pics are being imported still. :)

    Emails are based on subscribed threads. Just go to bookmarks and unsubscribe from those you don't wish to get notifactions from. The little "star" can be checked and unchecked.

    Are videos going to be allowed in the signature now?  If so then will there be a way to not show them?

    Cant help but notice my Quote/Motto next to my image is gone... and signatures is locked off for me. Exactly what do I have to do to unlock those two forum features?

    @Tybost - I think that the quote next to your image is a feature we're not able to do with Vanilla. @MikeB , is that about right?

    As for the sigs: known issue, we're looking into it now.

    Default permissions were set to off for signature for some reason. Try now. I don't know if quote/motto is a feature on these forums, so probably just got wiped in the migration.

    Any way to fix up the timestamps on the post to show with the complete date/time and more distinctly from the rest of the verbiage below the forum pic? Also would be great if the OP's name/post(s) in a thread would be highlighted somehow, as it used to be. Any chance on that?

    i dont want emails in my mailbox whenever someone replies to a post i made or whatever the criteria is..

    I've been member of this site for about 8 years now and all of a sudden I have to earn to create a thread for some reason.
    I am at -1 points now because some random person flagged my opinion (and of others in the same thread) as spam. Now I get this text on my screen telling that I need 15 points to be able to create a new thread. Something which I have been able to do for 8 years and I am positive that I had few infractions over that period of time. I also never have been banned.

    So, in short, WTH?

    You have 76 points. Are you sure you can't create a thread?

    Do you mean you were spam blocked due to our Flood Control? If you post too many times in X period of time, you will be blocked for a few minutes.

    Oh now I have 76 points for creating one comment and hitting an agree button. So I will be able to create a thread now I guess.

    As for the design for the website. There is one thing I don't like and it is the purple colour overlay over the game's thumbnails (not sure how to explain in English). The game thumbnails next to their respective forums. It makes the thumbnails more difficult to recognise.

    I joined in 2005 and had some amount of posts, maybe 1,000+. New forum seems like I joined yesterday
