EvE on consoles?

Could this game ever experience success on consoles?

    Eve is hardly successful on PC why would they think it would do any better on consoles?

     

    Eve right now has it's lowest amount of players since 2008. It is in a steady decline.

    CCP already made DUST for consoles. Which is the planet side (not that planet side) part of the EVE universe. Like what is going on down on all those planets you see. I think the two are tied together in some weird way. Like they effect each others economy or share the same market or something like that. But, I have not looked at it really.

    EVE is to difficult to play for ppl with just a controller as consoles are more for shooters. You have to think and outsmart others.

    Not just run in and bunnyhop while spamming the shoot button and throw the controller away when you get fragged. ;)

    EVE was at it's peak in 2007-2008 content wise and the most fun.

    EVE going back to smaller player communities, only better.

    Days were much better when there were 5k actual EVE fans playing without 100k added self entitled spoonfed WOW generation  running around.

    DUST was a sub par console shooter based on the EVE Universe.

    It was not EVE.

    It would work if it required a keyboard and mouse, simply because it's too hard to work with a controller.

    Omg stop giving pc gamers a bad rep this is why people hate pc gamers, most real gamers do not care as long as the game is good, your either a fanboy or your not the end. Of course I prefer my pc because of deals and more variety then what I can get on console.

    If the xbox one actually had a querty keyboard attachment for the controller like the 360 did...it could work at least on that console (PS4 as well if it had/has the same). I mean World of Tanks is available for console. I know...World of Tanks and EVE are not the same thing. But their raw mechanics and core features (minus scale and scope) are comparable if you stop to think about it. The major difficulties here would be UI and Scale (if were talking about how to make it work on console and not the immense effort that would be required to actually port it).

    PC gamers and console gamers don't have bad names. The argument lies on the internet alone. The vast majority could not care less. Most of the members of the reddit sub PCMASTERRACE aren't even actual PCMR members. Its just a stupid imaginary fight between teenagers and its best not to get involved.
