Avoid the game they are basically scammers....

I purchased a 1.5 year sub(12 + 6 months) and after a recent patch i am unable to login due to the "Authorization server unavailable" error, a very common error it looks like, had squad members quit due to it as they could no longer log in to the game but i always thought its their PC or something.

Until i also got it... i have no firewall, no antivirus(i install one every 2 weeks and update it to scan but don`t keep it active) and i`m a former web developer so i know how to run a pc and connect to a server...

Every other game works fine, every page also works even the War Thunder one except for the log in procedure. I contacted support with this info and got standard "look at out help pages" answers... the help pages basically say it can only be the users fault. :-)

At this point i am out of options but to warn others not to get too attached by this game... its a random error they are unable to fix and if you get it apparently you are out of luck as they don`t even want to admit it might be a bug, they claim its your fault so you should fix it, even if you can play other online games with no issues and generally use your pc/internet with no problems except when trying to log in to their server.

I`ll add that i have never ever had such a bad experience in any game i played... other games had bugs disconnecting you but the support would at least admit its on their side and that they are working to fix it... nothing more to ask after all software products have bugs. But not even admitting there is a problem and even deleting forums threads mentioning this saying its an user related issues... when clearly its quite common.

Russian developer so maybe its a tradition there to be able to fix everything yourself without any help or if not to stay quiet about it... but either way i`m never touching another Russian game.

As for you guys, you have been warned... maybe you will be smarter than me and listen before you experience problems. :-)

I would suggest simple trouble shooting, three posting dealing with that issue on the 1st page of Tech help.

Yea i know.. i had no problems and i have also been playing for 1 year and some (on and off)... and i used to tell people they should get help it can`t be that bad.... until it got that bad.

 

Can`t even login to their help page to check my ticket update.... yet as you can see i can log in and post here just fine, i can also play SWTOR and ESO... and do a lot of other things. But War Thunder? Nope.

Yet they claim its something wrong on my side... even if the only thing not working is their login page, on their main website, support website or just trying to log into the game.

You will know what i mean if you ever get this error too and are unable to even log in on the forums... 

Also, as you can see from the already open threads on their website, a lot of people have the error and they can`t do anything for a while, then it goes away and they can play for another while, then its back again... same thing i have. Yet no fix for months, all they say is that its the players fault...

As i said, it must be the Russian way of doing business...
