i hop between alot of games bc mostly i cant find a group to play with but ive noticed niche games have better groups. so id like some underdog/underrated games to play things you personally find amazing even if the masses breezed over it

Well, you might have a point even though all games have some jerks.

Why not try TSW if you havn't already? It is pretty underated and have less players than it deserves (more than a few underdogs are underdogs because they suck).

Fallen Earth comes to mind.  Five years old, maybe more.  Was praised at release, population fell off, I think it changed hands and re-released as F2P.  No clue on population now, but it's surely an underdog.

 

Another that I kind of consider underdog now is DDO.  Moderate release, F2P conversion, seemed to be getting a lot of developer attention for a while.  Older now, no hype, barely ever even mentioned in the forum.

 

And thinking about it, although this one might be a little more underdog than desired.  Age of Conan.  Not sure about population.  Not sure about grouping.  Beautiful game, decent combat.

 

I think Fallen Earth is the most niche of the three.

Do /chat join sanctuary to join the global chat to play with others also check the lfg tool from the menu.
