Hey guys

If like me you haven't played Wildstar since a few months after launch or just haven't played in a while and have a new phone since that time you might want to check and make sure you can actually get past the authentication.

If you didn't print out the QR code when you first added wildstar to the 2 step you might have trouble logging in on Tuesday ( if you plan on playing the F2p version)

I haven't played in like two years so of-course i have a new phone now like most normal people would, and well the 2 step verification needs to be removed from my account in order for me to Re-enable it....

I can predict a shit storm on Tuesday when thousands of players return only to get fucked over by the verification  ( you heard it here first) :D
I dont know if Ncsoft have predicted this or not id expect the latter.

anyway i just thought i should let some of you guys know so you can send them a ticket now and get yours removed before they get backlogged

well that's all

Deleted Google Authenticator App on Device before deactivating on WildStar Account

Each time you set up a new Two-Step Verification account a unique code is generated for that instance on the app. So each time you set up a new account on the app, even with the same email address, a new code is generated.

Since the old account was not properly deactivated before the app was deleted, the Wildstar account is still attached to the old instance of the Two-Step Verification account you initially set up. The codes generated for the new instance of the account do not match the codes for the initial account. We will need to assist you with deactivating the initial Two-Step Verification account.

Please submit a request to our Support Team for further assistance and include as much information as possible from the below list:

    New Ticket Submission

For the promptest resolution to the issue, please always include the following information:

    • What first and last name did you use when you created the NC Account?
    • What physical address did you use when you created the NC Account?
    • What date of birth did you use when you created the NC Account?
    • List all possible emails that you would have used on the NC Account.
    • List all 20- or 25-digit serial codes for any games you added to the NC Account.
