Getting slightly tired of these "turn off the UI and show some flashy combat" videos about BD. Is there any substance to this game or is it just a solo pve grinder?

I think they are trying to set their goals a little high. Should've just did f2p with sub option or f2p server and p2p server.

You actually can play without the hud in this game as you don't need a skill bar

Community has really been hard on them about wanting a pay to play server...they wanted f2p...I guess this was the middle ground.

yeah , even is hidden as default , or at least when i tried the last class i was playing w/o it until i noticed it was missing ^^U

I have been loving the sword and board warrior, cant wait to try this bad boy out.

By the looks of it the next weapon the class should get is the bucket off of a backhoe, or maybe a refrigerator welded to a big piece of rebar.

Bayen @ It's no secret the game has no actual PvE end game content. It's pretty straight forward solo play. At least right now. But the developers are well aware of the request for it. Both from the Korean and international market. The games end game is currently GvG and I've only heard good things. It looks playable and smooth, and I ask myself- Isn't this okay? Why does every game need a end-game that consists of dungeons and raids? I think the game- As it has no subscription fee could be a valueable asset if you take it for what it is. I feel we've had too many MMOs that spread themselves too thin. Warhammer Online should have been 100% PvP for example. I feel that game could have turned out very differently had they stuck to its strengths. Right now in the beta, the game is sort of boring. It's because of the enemies. They are sponges that soak up damage. It sort of reminds me of Star Wars The Force Unleashed. No matter how cool the combat looks, it is just not satisfying when you feel like you're wacking on stupid sponge A.I with lots of health. They've said they will make the US/EU versions more difficult as in accordance with feedback, so we will have to see. I think almost everyone on this site hopes for the best for Black Desert. We need more good MMORPGs that succeed internationally, and right now Black Desert is nr. 34 in Korea, so not doing as hot as it should.

The Russian version put a cooldown on potion use. And it's been confirmed that this will also be implemented in the US release. Due to the overwhelmingly negative feedback.

I am always hope full for a good mmo but I am mostly disappointed these days! ill download it and see,only gud games are the dark souls games=)
