Ok I don't mind paying, and I really want to win. What game can I win for about 50 bucks a month?

OR! You can send me $50 a month and I'll send you encouraging emails, telling you how bad ass and ruggedly handsome you are.

Can't advise you on F2P games as I steer clear of them, but 50/mo would pay for 3 monthly subs to EVE and you could have a really good time advancing multiple skill trees for them.

    Just saying.
When i clicked on this thread, i already knew i would find this posting.

The thing people tend to forget is this:  The game developers don't want you to win.  It's sad, but it's true.  If you win, then you have no reason to keep dumping money into the machine.

I have to agree with Kyleran on this.   Willingness to spend $50+ pm on EVE will get you multiple accounts and that is a major advantage when considering how the game is designed.

I've always said if I had enough money and multiple awesome gaming PCs, I'd be on EVE 24/7.

It's pretty straight fwd a p2w game, it's just not at all 'broken' to those that only pay a sub. (or PLEX)

    food for thought?
    Can't tell if serious or...

You haven't played many MMO have you.

Your definition of "winning", requires closer to $500 / month instead of $50.

If you spend $50 / month on a F2P game, you would be spending probably what most regular people spend.

Anyway, questions like this is why I play P2P.

I think your 20-50 bucks per month probably puts you in the "cannon fodder" category in most games where P2W is a thing.

Perhaps if you were in the 200-500 bpm league, you'd stand more of a chance. Even then, the 2000-5000 bpm players would still be eating your lunch, but that wouldn't happen as frequently...
Yeah there will always be a bigger spender I know that.  I don't really just mean in PvP.  I've had experiences back in the day where I could drop a few dollars in the cash store and really help my guild with some things, buffs ETC for raiding.  I don't just mean pay 2 win pvp I mean having a good time overall in the game.  The big frustration is that so many companies are focused on free to play games, they remove all the fun from the game when it's free and offer to let you buy it back, there's no good guide on how to do it though.  Lol..
If that is all you want to do then just about any f2p mmo, or as others have mentioned buying multiple subs/boxes in a p2p/b2p game would be fine. In fact you wouldn't have to spend that much if you just wanted "to have a good time overall". For example, I have spent $70 on GW2 ($60 for game and $10 for character slots) since it launched and have had a great time.

That would be wrong. MOST regular people don't pay a dime.

and i quote "Conversion rate: “We probably have one of the highest payment ratios in the industry, it’s around 25-30 per cent”"

So even WoT has 70% of players paying nothing ... other games are much higher.
