Fine I'll dig thru the blog since I'm sure you won't. Taken from Derek Smarts blog though I'm sure many of the links won't paste. So read The Long Con at his blog. Anyway here you go.
“Hey guys, Elle was a short film Sandi directed on her own, outside of her work at CIG. No one from the office worked on it, and she did not use any of our in house equipment in the filming of it. No subscriber or backer funds were used at all for it.
I’m pretty sure that the only reason Berenice listed CIG on her resume was because she didn’t know what else to list for the production company.”
It’s false.
The entire movie first draft was reportedly shot by an ex-employee named Brian Dickson, on RSI’s own equipment (Canon 5D cameras), and there’s proof of this. The invoices were all reported to have been billed to the company. Further, liability, insurance, SAG/AFTRA, signatory costs etc are all assumed by the company since Sandi, not being signatory, can’t personally sign anything related to any movie shoot. Only the company – of which she is an officer – can be a signatory. That’s how it works.
UPDATE: On Sept 21st, after another thread showed up on Reddit following this tweet I made about her shooting movies on company premises, a new thread appeared on Reddit with a group of people asking for an explanation. Shortly after, Sandi made this tweet (in case they delete it, here is a screen cap) in which she stated thus:
“no not shot at the studios and CIG was a mistake on the DPs resume – was under Gemini 42 and all extras I personally paid“
Well, here’s the problem. Gemini 42 is a wholly owned subsidiary of RSI (1, 2). So she’s admitted – right there in the public record – that this is all true.
And before you start talking about them being married is a personal matter etc – don’t. She’s the “co-creator” of the largest crowd-funded project in history. She’s not someone in the sidelines, in the background or any of that. So her integrity and credibility are important. Plus, she’s a public figure. She’s right there, front and center of this project and is one of the people entrusted with$90m in public money and with zero accountability.
And she’s a liar; and by all reported accounts and allegations thus far, a fraud.
So there you go. Backer funds being used by Roberts wife.
Ahhh, I see.... The Smarty .... his proof is that its the same street address as CIG Santa Monica, 1316 3rd Street Promenade #111, Santa Monica, CA 90401. --> let me guess ..... Ortwin Freyermuth being the link between those two.
'Sandbox MMO' is a PTSD trigger word for anyone who has the experience to know that anonymous players invariably use a 'sandbox' in the same manner a housecat does.
When your head is stuck in the sand, your ass becomes the only recognizable part of you.
No game is more fun than the one you can't play, and no game is more boring than one which you've become familiar.
How to become a millionaire: Start with a billion dollars and make an MMO.
There's so much drama concerning this game, you'd have thought the spectre of Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment had risen from banckruptcy and Gary Whiting was back from the Cayman islands!
Now that was a real scam, not this **** poor drama fest created by a few haters!
"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience"

I ask again: Where in those two links is it stated that Gemini 42 is a wholly owned subsidiary of RSI ?
Someone (Ortwin Freyermuth) is involved in various companies. Which is not unusual for a lawyer.
I know plenty of people that are involved in various companies from widely different fields. THAT in itself does not tell me that one of these companies is a wholly owned subsidiary of one of the other companies.
So .. have you seen the official commercial register / companies register that lists the owners of a company and have you seen there that Gemini 42 is a wholly owned subsidiary of RSI or CIG ?

Link number 1 lists 3 works under Gemini 42, all for Star Citizen
Link number 2 shows Ortwin Freyermuth as the Register Agent for Gemini 42
You do know what a Register Agent is, and does correct?
"A registered agent receives important legal and tax documents on behalf of a business -- corporation or LLC.
They also can receive services of process (SOP) when a business entity
is a party in a legal action, like a lawsuit or summons. A registered
agent may also receive paperwork from the state for the yearly renewal
of the business's charter. Either a member of the company or a third
party (like a lawyer or service company) can act as a registered agent."
So I guess you are going to tell me its an incredible coincidence that
not only does Ortwin Freyermuth work for (and is ALSO A FOUNDER) but he
just so happens to be the 3rd party agent, with no other affiliation, to
Gemini 42?
So you ask if I have seen the official company regester verifying this? Gimme a break dude, you're reaching so hard its oozing desperation.
Bit of advise... If it smells like shit, and looks like shit then chances are its shit!

Here's something that you seem to miss from your previous information. In the same link you gave to the Tweets by Sandi, it specifically says that the movie was shot on an Alexa XT which was sponsored by Panavision. Secondly, and I know this might come as a HUGE surprise to you, but there are definitely dozens of companies with subsidiaries and MANY TIMES these subsidiaries are specifically created in order to create greater traceability so they can remain accountable to stakeholders. I know! Mind.... Officially... Blown!!! So even if this was a Gemini 42 project and even if that was a subsidiary of RSI, that doesn't mean that they funded anything. In fact, if it's an entertainment company, it's entirely possible that Sandi could have paid them. Once again, we're assuming that Chris Roberts has so little money that he needs to steal from backers in order to perform a 1-day shoot. Hate to tell you, but his daily burn to run CIG is probably higher than that. Fuck, I could probably afford a single-day shoot. Instead, it's your belief that CR is going to risk everything to shoot some film that he could probably do with his pocket change. Cool bro.
You say that Erillion is reaching, but Sandi has specifically stated that the equipment in question was sponsored by Panavision, so why not try contacting their relations department to verify that. If you want to be some sort of Internet sleuth then you really need to try to remain objective because while Erillion might be on one extreme end of the spectrum when it comes to the subject, you're absolutely no better, you're just the extreme opposite.

Yeah, pretty much exactly what I said, Erillion is a radical on the pro-SC side and you're a radical on the anti-SC side. That's fine, I mean you're welcome to have an opinion, I mean they're just like assholes, everyone has one. However, it doesn't really serve your doctrine when you use sources of information which have already been heavily scrutinized for their legitimacy, just as much as CIG itself, and the source has an immediate conflict of interest.
Just saying, I really hate to be the one to point out the obvious to you, but you're essentially pointing fingers at Erillion for being in a rubber room, but you don't realize that you're pointing at him, in his rubber room, from a porthole in your own rubber room.
Here's one of the (many) things I don't understand about this whole argument. The things Derek Smart is accusing CIG of doing, he is doing himself, but on a smaller scale. He's taking money to play a "tech demo" (his words) of his game. He's taking money for DLC that doesn't exist. He's missed every release date he has set for his current game, and it's been in development going on SEVEN YEARS.
On the Steam Forums, he's stated he has basically quit working on his current PC game to work on some Xbox game.
I get the fact that what CIG is doing could be interpreted has behaving shadily, but I've seen no proof, one way or the other, that there is or isn't something going on. Quoting some people that may or may not have worked on Star Citizen isn't really proof without showing who they are, what they did, and how long they were there.
Everyone has their own opinion about what's going on. I hope there's a game that comes out soon, but knowing the past history of Derek Smart and his internet antics, it's really hard to take him seriously.
Think of the best possible sandbox space simulator in the future. Then give a lot of money to the company who is also thinking of this same thing. Then wait and hope something happens before you die of old age.
Don't worry though, once the poop hits the fan and they wind up with their asses in court (this WILL happen) to explain where all the money went I'm sure the will be some other games looking to hire professional forum posters.
By all means the OP should follow the game in hopes that it will actually see the light of day. Definitely DO NOT give them a dime until then.
Have even more fun!
Did you just link a self promoting con man as your "proof". Fantastic.

There's a ton of folks here who do the same for the words of Chris Roberts.
I think the reason the two go at it, is because they are both very similar in personality. Roberts is just nicer in public.
If you are holding out for the perfect game, the only game you play will be the waiting one.
