I did just that and it was not worth my time. Nothing against the game, I wanted to try it...and the half-baked translations aren't helping the case any. I know its beta but this game needs much refinement still. Here's to hoping the NA/EU version gets squared away.

In the shortest order I can manage:

Clean up the UI, collision/hit boxes, and generally pull me into the world....instead of putting dialogue, windows, and general clutter (like bright blue lines and circles) between me and a beautiful world and I MIGHT be in. The constant flashing messages of sales and quests being completed is not helping either...

So far though, nothing in Black Desert has called out...Explore me. Adventure here. It's an optimized quest system on rails...tighter rails than many popular, relevant MMO's. The graphics quailty is closely matched by FFXIV, aside from many excellent animations - dodging, jumping, combat...just not crawling. I'm really hoping there is a good game under there somewhere, unfortunately, I'm not seeing it.
