That video is so one sided its sad. I'll just have you know that I have been chased by hordes of zombies in H1Z1. And it can be fun quite often.
I think the last time I had to run from a mob of zombies was back in april when they upped the spawn rate for a few weeks then nerfed it. Is there a way to show stats in H1Z1? I don't think iv ever died from a zombie.
They are too slow
There aren't enough of them.
They aren't responsive enough.
The zombie aggro radius is absolutely HORRIBLE.
2:25 shows a great example. Try doing that in ARMA 3 with a group of zombies around you. You cant because all zombies in a 200 foot radius will swarm you immediately after they hear the first shot. Zombies are so slow and un-responsive in H1Z1 that you can walk around slowly aiming at each zombie while the others in the area either ignore you or slowly shuffle toward you. You cant do the same in ARMA 3. They make zombies hard.
Ever since the spawn nerf back in april I can just melee the usual 3-4 zombie spawns, If I ever do come accros a 'horde' which is NEVER more that 10-15 zombies, I usually have 300+ rounds of whatever due to not needing to use ammo for 99.9% of all zombie encounters because they are just a non-threat.
It's sad when you have to play the King of the Hill (with Zombies) version of this game in order to actually fight Zombies.... When the King of the Hill version is when you're suppose to be fighting humans....
I still haven't seen a zombie movie or show that I liked aside from Zombieland, and that was only because it was funny.
The Walking Dead is one of the worst shows I've ever been forced to sit through. I cannot understand the appeal. Big gaping pot holes in every season, cartoon caricatures instead of actual characters, unrealistic forced drama and honestly half the people in the group shouldn't have survived day one much less several seasons.
The craze with zombie games has completely gone over my head. Give me a thinking, difficult enemy any day.
All that being said, The Last of Us was incredible, but then they weren't really zombies, they were just driven crazy and mutated by a fungal infection.
But the zombies killed you in Arma 3 I choose life over death, especially considering you were able to actually kill zombies in H1Z1 and it appeared with a billion bullets flying you did not kill anything in ARMA 3
